The best purchase I've made on Chewy

I was very hesitant to buy a car seat for my girl due to the high costs of many of the products. This specific seat had decent reviews and was quite inexpensive so I decided to try it and I'm SO glad that I did! It fit well into my car and the installation was done in a matter of minutes. But most importantly - my Chihuahua LOVES riding in it! It only takes a few minutes before she is snoozing in this thing. She really likes being elevated enough where she can look out the window and I love knowing that this keeps her safe while she does it! If you have been waffling on this purchase I would highly recommend adding it to your cart.

I put this in the backseat of my car, and Kai uses it every day. He goes with me on walks, runs, and to babysit so he is always in the car. He used to ride in the front seat until I found out that was not good for them. Now he rides in the back seat in his own little seat. I feel much better knowing that he is safe and sound in his own seat and will be protected from any crash (knocking on wood).

Too small!!!!!!

The straps that wrap around the seat to ensure proper installation are too small to go around my seat. The actual part that the dog sits in I put my 3lb puppy in and it collapsed so overall it is just too small for my seat and too small to hold a 3 pound puppy. installed incorrectly because straps are too small to go behind the seat and wrap around the seat the way it supposed to
He keeps hopping out.

It was a good idea but it's not deep enough and he is a very restless rider. If he can hang his head out he wants to get out. Good try though
Coming apart at the seams

I bought this item just over a year ago and use it for my 8 lb shihtzu. It is already coming apart at the seams and sagging. Zoey is almost 13 years old and I had her prior car seat for over 10 years, only replaced it when a car wash broke it. This one barely lasted a year and SHEs only 8lb. This is junk.

I read the reviews for this which were so so. Because of the price, I decided to try it to see if my dog would like this kind of seat. She does enjoy looking out the window which she couldn't do before. But the seat is very small. My 5 pound dog just fits in it and probably could not sleep in it comfortably. It is also not very sturdy and I don't think it will last long.
